MANUAL SINGLE NATIONAL DISABILITY (PART II OF II) CHAPTER VII 7. CARDIOVASCULAR SYSTEM 7.1 General The varying degrees of permanent impairment of the cardiovascular system are the result of anatomical or functional abnormality of the same. In this chapter we define the criteria and methods for determining the degree of permanent impairment of individuals with cardiovascular disorders. The evaluation of the cardiovascular system failure has certain characteristics and considerations other than those of other organ systems.
