PF (Packet Filter) firewall package based on dynamic configuration (stateful rules)

ON DYNAMIC CONFIGURATION (Stateful Rules) PF (Packet Filter) is the packet filter or firewall configuration based on dynamic (stateful rules) written by Darren OpenBSD. It replaced the filter in OpenBSD Darren Reed IPFilter due to problems with the license, namely that Reed had to give permission to the OpenBSD developers to change the  code. Theo de Raadt said when IPFilter was removed "the software that OpenBSD uses and shares should be free for all (both users and companies), for any purpose you want to be given, including their modification, use, piss on it or even join babies in crushing machines or atomic bombs to drop in Australia. " Due to the discomfort of the OpenBSD team is licensed by Reed, it was decided to replace the entire package rather than lose more time trying to negotiate the issue. The PF has since developed very rapidly, and in OpenBSD 3.8 and have much advantage over other firewall options. Filtering syntax is very similar to IPFilt

ZoneAlarm (firewall) software that

INCLUDES AN INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEM INBOUND AND OUTBOUND PROGRAMS ZoneAlarm is a firewall software produced by Check Point . It includes an intrusion detection system starters, like the ability to control which programs can create outbound connections - the latter is not included in the firewall of Windows XP Service Pack 2.  In ZoneAlarm, program access is controlled by the "zones" in which divide the network connections on your computer . The "zone of confidence" ("trusted zone") typically includes local area network users and can share resources such as files and printers, while the "Internet zone" ("Internet zone") includes everything but is in the "zone of confidence". The user can specify that "permits" (trusted zone client, trusted zone server, Internet zone client, Internet zone server) to a program before you attempt to access the Internet (eg before running for the first time) or, alternatively,

CRYPTOGRAPHY: CODING AND DECODING INFORMATION,

Encrypt and Decrypt Cryptography (from Greek krypto κρύπτω, "hidden" and γράφω graphos, "write", literally "hidden writing")  is the art ociencia to encrypt and decrypt information using special techniques and is often used to allow an exchange of messages that only can be read by people who are targeted and have the means to decipher. Cryptography Encrypt and Decrypt License Font   More precisely, when it comes to this area of knowledge and science, one should speak of cryptology, which in turn includes both encryption techniques, ie, cryptography itself as complementary techniques, among which is included cryptanalysis, which studies methods for breaking ciphertexts in order to recover the original information in the absence of the keys. Cryptography Concepts In the jargon of cryptography, the original information to be protected is called plaintext or cleartext. Encryption is the process of converting plain text into un

Encryption, Standard Encryption

(DATA ENCRYPTION STANDARD) Data Encryption Standard (DES) is an encryption algorithm , ie a method for encrypting information, FIPS chosen as in the United States in 1976, and whose use is widespread throughout the world. The algorithm was initially controversial with classified design elements, a relatively short key length, and the continuing suspicions about the existence of a backdoor for the National Security Agency (NSA). DES was subsequently subjected to intense academic analysis led to the modern concept of block ciphers and their cryptanalysis. Today, DES is considered unsafe for many applications. This is mainly due to the size of 56-bit key is short DES keys are broken in less than 24 hours. Analytical results also exist that show theoretical weaknesses in encryption , but are unfeasible in practice. It is believed that the algorithm is safe in practice variant of Triple DES, although there are theoretical attacks. In recent years, the algorithm has been replace
